Sheila and her husband relocated from the city over 25 years ago, making the choice to first start a local business in Cutchogue and then spend wonderful days raising three great sons on the beautiful North Fork. Sheila quickly became very active in local community pursuits including coaching baseball and summer soccer teams. She has been a volunteer on the Mattituck-Cutchogue Little League Board. She continues fundraising for local charities, schools and organizations in Southold and Riverhead as well. Sheila has been chairperson for numerous charitable events including local garden and fashion shows as well as golf and fishing outings. In addition to her volunteering activities, Sheila began her own design business which included designing beautiful and festive settings for homes, businesses and country clubs.
The love of architecture and beautiful surroundings was a natural lead-in for Sheila’s venture into the real estate industry. Over the years Sheila has combined her knowledge and deep affection for the East End with her real estate skills and talents, confident in her ability to help potential buyers find their own piece of heaven right here on the North Fork and assist sellers in professionally marketing their homes in any type of market.
Sheila has over ten years’ experience in the local North Fork real estate market. She has won many awards and earned the prestigious honor of being top producer. Sheila also wins her clients trust, confidence and return business with her professionalism, honesty and integrity.
Sheila Izzo has a rare combination of professionalism, self assuredness and informality that makes the nerve wracking process of selling or buying a home markedly less so. When I was ready to accept a bid, she got me another $5,000 with one phone call. When we decided to rent our family’s bayfront home she found us a wonderful family that treats our house as their own. And they appear to be repeat customers. My experience with Sheila has been so positive that there is no chance I’d undertake a real estate transaction without her.
Just wanted to write you a note to thank you for your outstanding service during our house buying process. Moving out to the east end is very exciting for us and thanks to your generosity and support we were able to make it happen. We are very grateful for all that you’ve done for us to make our dream a reality and look forward to a great life out here on the South Fork. Thanks again for everything.
I had the pleasure of working with Sheila Izzo on a recent transaction in Southold, and from the get-go, Sheila was responsive, went above and beyond the job description and fought for our clients all the way to the closing. As a mortgage broker, it’s essential in today’s credit environment to work with an experienced real estate broker who knows how to assist with and navigate through the ever challenging real estate process. Sheila is just that and more. She made my job much easier and was instrumental in ensuring we closed in a timely manner. The buyers were ecstatic with Sheila and couldn’t help but rave about her when they found the property of their dreams, when the contract was signed and again at the closing table. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer anyone interested in purchasing a home in the North Fork area to Sheila. She’s truly great.
As the owner of several residential, investment and commercial properties on the North Fork , I have worked with Sheila for all my real estate needs. Sheila is consistently responsive, informative and professional. I have found that she will analyze each project individually to development a well-informed and creative approach to generate the best possible outcome.
I have worked with Sheila and Kristen for many years buying and selling properties. They are ultimate professionals whose primary interests are client satisfaction. Chic, smart and always available.
Many thanks are in order for everything you did to help us sell our house. You made the whole situation as pleasant as possible with your patience and professionalism in every aspect of the selling process. Thanks again to you and NFREinc.
Jim and I have known Sheila for almost 20 years. In that time we have know Sheila to be a truly honest and loyal friend. Sheila is a person you can always count on both in friendship and in business. Sheila is a leader among her peers and is known throughout the community as a person who can and will bring together groups of all ages and social standings. I am always amazed at Sheila’s network of friends and business connections. Over the years, Sheila and I have worked together on fundraising and school projects and Sheila has never shied away from a t ask or assignment she has undertaken. She always follows through with great enthusiasm and success no matter how difficult the project. Sheila’s also does many charitable things for which she does expect or seek recognition. Her hard work for and with so many has given her true leadership qualities. Sheila also has a devoted and loving family behind her and her web of friends and communities spreads through her children and family. I am proud to call Sheila a good friend and confident.
Sheila is singular among all of real estate professionals I have known. From our first exchange with her and all that has followed, we have been impressed by her observational skills, (she nailed our interests after one visit), her intelligence, (she speaks knowledgably about construction, architecture and the history of the area), her patience and her wit, (with her sunny disposition, she has made ever the darkest, rainiest day a pleasurable experience and been understanding when our schedules have interfered with our arriving on time for our appointment). The 2 qualities I value the most, however, are her enthusiasm and her honesty. In short, Sheila loves what she does and seems to value her clients and customers satisfaction as her main mission. We trust her, implicitly, and value her guidance. She seems to be in it for the long haul and in going the extra distance for us, she makes us feel not at all like prospective purchasers generating a commission but rather more like new neighbors she is getting to know.
I worked with Sheila Izzo in the summer of 2011 on the purchase of a weekend home. Our relationship began when she was at Daniel Gale. Sheila worked with me every step of the way through the purchase. She was always available (early morning, nights, you name it). I was never pushed to make a decision. That is the beauty of the group at NFRE – they are locals who know the in’s and out’s of every little neighborhood and work with you to find the right match. Our relationship didn’t end once there was a contract either. Sheila helped me with my building permit process once I closed – above and beyond anything she needed to do. From what I can tell, the group at NFRE formed this business with the common goal of serving people with an added locals touch. If you want to deal with honest, knowledgeable, and smart locals, I highly recommend you give Sheila, Kristen, or anyone else at the group at try.
